Grandmaster Jon Wiedenman and Grandmaster George Fullerton require some sort of thesis to accompany each and every level of black belt. Generally, students write pretty much cookie cutter overviews of Chang Moo Kwan. When Darrell Cook submitted his thesis to his instructor Master Wilson Wong, and Master Wong shared it with Grandmaster Wiedenman and Master Fullerton, all three felt that Darrell had put a lot of time and energy and spirit into his thesis. All agreed that it was a great work on the roots of Chang Moo Kwan. Darrell Cook is now our Chang Moo Kwan Historian! He is also a huge help in scanning and formating material for our site.
